By optimizing financial strategies and capital efficiency, McDermott aims to support the growth and success of EIP's portfolio, ultimately accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future.

Fostering Collaboration and Unlocking Synergies

EIP's Founder and Managing Partner, Hans Kobler, expressed his enthusiasm about welcoming McDermott to the team. "As the energy transition and demand for clean energy is picking up pace, the need for capital and collaboration only increases. Jeff's vast experience and strategic insight will be invaluable for us and our portfolio on this journey." Kobler highlighted the unique collaboration between EIP's portfolio companies and its strategic limited partner (LP) base as a key competitive advantage, and he believes that McDermott's expertise will further strengthen these partnerships and unlock new synergies.

Aligning Innovators and Incumbents for a Sustainable Future

I'm a strong believer in connecting innovators with incumbents to drive the energy transition in a capital-efficient and profitable manner." He expressed his enthusiasm for leveraging his 15 years of energy transition M&A and capital raising experience, as well as his deep relationship network, to benefit EIP, its portfolio companies, and its LPs.The appointment of Jeff McDermott to EIP's leadership team underscores the firm's commitment to strengthening its financial expertise and strategic capabilities as it continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the energy transition.
